Garmin Speak Plus with Amazon Alexa

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if any of you use or tried the Garmin speak plus with Alexa in your countryman or mini for that matter. Did you like it or was it a waste? Specifically something WITHOUT mini connected. Thanks for any help.

I have one. It was given to me as a gift, and just in time as I was goin on a road trip and wanted some "insurance" in case anything had happened...

The video quality is pretty decent, you do set it up via an app, which could use some improving, but isn't horrible.

As far as value, I use it more for a dash cam than a GPS or Alexa capabilities. Using the GPS requires input via the app. the Alexa function works pretty well, but it tethers to your phone for internet connectivity, so thats something to keep in mind.

I snaked the power cable behind my radio, across the dash, up the passenger A-pillar, above the headliner and just to the left of the rear-view mirror.

It does some with a magnetic mount that sticks to the window, I do believe Garmin has released a suction mount that you can purchase.

That's all I got.
