Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm looking to purchase a 2015 Countryman S. What are the things that I need to look at and pay attention for when buying a used vehicle. What are the common problem areas are sore spots. Is this a car that I can rely on to keep for five to seven years and put lots of mileage on. I really appreciate everyone's advice in advance. My advice is to do some reading here. This question has been popping up a lot recently on the CM and people get tired of reposting all the comments. But simply if you can't DIY on a lot of maintenance and repair items, better off with HondaToyotaSubaruEtc.

 

thanks, i am very DiY capable and have wrenched and maintained my own Mercedes, 2010 and 2013....

i guess a question to ask is... are these cars worth buying for long term? or should i stick to a Toyota or Subaru?
