I have a 12 can all4s. My 4x4 light just came on and dsc light. Any idea why.
note : drove the car home fine last night no no problems. Got up to head into work this morning upon starting the car the light came on checked every fuse but to the all-wheel-drive system can anybody help me

 

There are diagnostic descriptions in the manual - did you check that?

Also, are you able to scan the code that is being surfaced?

 

Haldex system [ your All Wheel Drive unit] can stored faults for pump issues, temp. sensors, etc. Have you seen any fluid leak under the vehicle? If you slowly lose fluid from the Haldex Coupler, you might not spot it easily since it's not a puddle type leak, but a spot on the floor at times.
I've also heard of a harness issue that MINI was having on the All 4 model, it gets pinched in a tight spot or something like that under the car.
