what motor is my mini

New to the Mini world. I own a 2014 Countryman S, Front wheel drive, manual transmission.

What R series motor is this car or what R series do I use to look up parts for this car?

Interested in some upgrades, I just need to know what Im talking about.

Agree with Minni.the.Moocher...You only need to input the last 7 positions of your VIN and realoem.com will identify the exact engine and the month of production for your car. I just did that today for both of my Mini's today looking for parts.
