radiator fan and thermostat

does one of the sensors on the thermostat control the radiator fan? I will be replacing the thermostat once I get the 2 jumper plugs ( that I forgot to get)

with the temps being so high I was wondering why my rad fan has not been spinning mounts. is there some trouble shooting tips for the rad fan?

fyi, I did search the forums and google but the result pointed to the r53 rad fan resistor issue, nothing on the countryman.

i found it would help if the fan was plugged in, but right now its not and i cant find where it plugs into. i seriously wonder if this has been the cause of my p0597 code....

what have your temps been at? on my R60 in sport I see it hovering between 212ish.. my R53 I had to do the resistor trick with the high feed line jumpering it to the low feed line..
