Popping the coils

Anyone have any pointers in popping our the ignition coils? I gave them a good tug, but they didn't budge. Before I pry, I wanted to make sure there isn't a trick to follow.

Today, the coils, O2 sensors and maybe the turbo aux water pump are getting changed over.

from what I remember theres a tab holding onto the wire that gets folded back to remove the wire. then from there to pull the coil from the plug its just a straight up motion pull. I wonder if you have a bit of corrosion that's holding the plug terminal to the coil terminal. they are on there decently but I didn't need to pry them
