My wifes 2011 countryman has a bit of a buzz type vibe and it seems like it is when it is cold or warm and in first gear at 2200 - 2400 rpm it almost sounds like a heat shield vibration but cant seem to nail it down. Any body have any experience with this issue or any good ideas ?? thanks Dano

 

I have what sounds like the exhaust rattling for the first minute or so after a cold start. I have an aftermarket exhaust that is a bit close to the rear diff. I figure it's just close enough to rattle against it until it warms up and the tubes lengthen a touch from the heat. Only does it in about the same RPM range, and mostly on deceleration.
