Rain sensing wipers...

Does anyone know if rain sensing wipers is an option or standard on the new Countryman? I can't seem to find out how to enable it.

Thanks,

Dave

We have them in our F60. Not sure which option bundle they come in but the website should tell you. Moving the stalk to the intermittent position is the rain sensing mode. Unlike in the R60, you can leave this engaged between starts. Good in general use, not so good when you go to a carwash and forget they were on.

Thanks! So first position of the intermittent is rain sensing? I have JCW interior and Premium packages, by the way. I just checked all the bundles and didn't see anything for rain sensing.

From the manual:

Switching on
Press the lever up until the desired position is
reached.
▷ Resting position of the wipers, position 0.
▷ Intermittent operation or rain sensor, position 1.
▷ Normal wiper speed, position 2.
The wipers switch to intermittent operation
when the vehicle is stationary.
▷ Fast wiper speed, position 3.
The wipers change to their normal speed
when the vehicle comes to a standstill.
When travel is interrupted with the wiper system switched on: when travel continues, the wipers resume at their previous speed.

Appears to be a standard feature on base and S models.

Wow I don't know how I missed that in the manual. Thanks so much!
