2012 Countryman S All4 new battery but won't start

I drove to work just fine this morning. Went to go to lunch and my Mini wouldn't start. No lights at all on the dash. Tried to jump it to no avail. Figured it was a bad battery since it still had OEM battery. Replaced battery, no lights on dash and still won't start. The radio and door locks work fine.

I really don't want to have it towed to the Mini dealership.

Any ideas??

Where is that located? I can't find it on the fuse box in the engine compartment.

Starter motor? Does it click when you turn the key? Do the dash or interior lights dim when you try to start it?

Did you have the battery coded to the system?

So you bought and replaced the battery only to find out it was a problem with the key fob?
