R60 Spotify without Mini Connected?
Spotify without Mini Connected?
Hey,
So i been looking on the web and most of the information i could find seems to be about spotify with mini connected.
Would it be possible to plug in a ipod touch (or an old android phone) over the mini usb/lighting cable and play spotify while still being able to use the steering wheel controls on a car without mini connected?
Currently i use an old ipod classic but i find myself not using itunes as much, so im trying to see if there is a way i can use google music or spotify in my countryman.
Thanks!

I use this tool that connects to my phone via Bluetooth and connects to the car via aux. It comes with a small controller (can't use steering wheel controllers) that adheres somewhere reachable to the driver:

I'm super happy with it.

Hey Thanks for the reply :D
Yeah i think bluetooth would probably be the best solution in this case, like your set up.
I ended up ordering a tune2air adapter last night and it seems that people have generally been positive over its functionality, hopefully it works with an ipod touch or android apps.

Thanks again!

Hah tune2air is good if you have an Apple device. I only have Android so the Kinivo tool is actually a better option. You'll find the tune2air will not allow steering wheel controls when connected to Android either.
