Visual boost - iPod videos - Black borders?

Finally got around to coding in video in motion thanks to the guides on here and BMW coding and it works a treat.

I picked up an old iPod Nano 4th gen, and I'm pleased to report back that it doesn't suffer the same audio/video lip sync issues that I experienced with an iPhone.

But, I can't seem to find a way to make the videos play full screen? I've got a black border on top and bottom.

I think the head unit bypasses any video out settings on the iPod (well, even with Video Out set to off, the car can still play them).

Strangely, the first time I drove car after coding the CHAMP module, I had full screen video in all its glory. The only difference here was that:
A) The head unit had performed some kind of reset after the coding completed.
B) The audio was muted prior to me choosing the video.

I've tried several combinations to get it back to full screen but no luck so far - just wondering if anyone knows a trick to get it working?
