R60 2012 Countryman-Pure Red
2012 Countryman-Pure Red
So my baby got got in a storm and got a nasty dent on the hood.
Luckily insurance covers it, but the body shop said the hood will need to be repainted and they mix their own colors.
Has anybody had any experience with having this done?
if you've seen the color you'll know what i'm talking about when I say that pure red has a very unique almost orange like effect to it sometime.
I just don't want it to come out with the hood looking off :/
your thoughts are appreciated, thanks!

Sounds a bit off to me but I'm not a body shop expert. If it were my car and I was worried about repaint, I would explore paintless dent removal in your area. My experience is that they can remove just about any dents without creases. There was a really good article on this in a recent Roundel magazine (last 6 months or so) where Mike Self's 318 was caught in a bad hail storm and he used a paintless dent removal company to repair just about all of it.
