My wife's ALL4 was totaled a couple of weeks ago...she'd like to get a new one but not sure if we should wait for 2016 models or not. The miniusa configurator has 2016 yet the dealers have 2015 in stock. We are down to one car so our options are to rent a car and wait for 2016 or go for 2015 now. I'm thinking if we wait we can get a 2015 for less (local dealer quoting little off list) or if she prefers the 2016 go for that.

Any idea when 2016 will be available?

I did hear back from Mini USA who said the 2016 Countryman Park Lane begins production this month.

that new Clubman looks good...

 

Is the 2016 Mini is redesign with the new engine?

 

The 2016 is the same as the existing 2015. No real difference at all. Mine is coming in in the next week or so after my 2015 Countryman got totaled after 10 months of owning it.

 

+1 its mostly the same except for some different color options. Countryman Park Lane is a great looking one. I really like the Cosmic Blue ( very dark blue ).
