Just a FYI. The newer style Plastic X covers do not fit the older style lights.

I swapped out the halogens for the new LED's and somewhat liked the oder style black mini covers and they did not snap on the led's securely as the newer compatible X style covers. They are a different fit/style...minimal but enough to make the difference with the covers.

I did not see clear answer to retrofit question above. Do I have to pull all of the wiring for my current driving lights back to a point or can you just pop the new lights on the old brackets and you are set.

After all of my fun doing my LED DRL's I will probably head to shop if I have to pull the harness.

If you look at the harnesses they look the same , i would pop the new LED lights housing themselves in and see if they light right up when you have the Halogen harness. Worth a shot.

I used the same brackets that were installed with the original driving lights as well as the existing harness. The new LED lights come with it's own harness but only needed the wiring coming from the new fixtures and plugged into the existing harness. There might of been a connecter needed to mate the new with the old but it was all included with the new LED kit from ECS.

Thanks, will be my next add. I leave mine covered this time of year and then uncover when we get to that time of year when it is dark driving to and from work. Masking out and plastidiping the white red on the cover will be fun also.

We have allot of deer and the xenons are pretty worthless for the since they are so focused down the road. The driving lights catch the eyes of the ones grazing along the road much better.
