If you're considering a car cover there's something you want to be sure you're aware of. Imagine what would happen, with time, if you wiped down your dry car with a dry towel. That same thing is happening any time your car cover is being buffeted in the wind. The cleaner you keep your car and the cover the less damage will be done.

We have it here,

MINI Countryman Car cover w/ wash label. Its really cool looking.

Car Cover Wash Label - Outdoor 82152181177

Just make sure you clean your MINI before you cover it. Or its been cleaned. Fits snug and made with a soft under shell.

Thanks

I just ordered this cover and OH MY GOODNESS is it tight. I feel like I'm going to rip it when I stretch it over the corners.

Anyway, cover is awesome, but the only usefulness is perhaps for long-term storage. I use it when I go out of town and have to leave the car in the driveway for a couple weeks. It only goes on right after a washing.

The one nice thing about how tight it is (which is probably the original reason they made it this way) is that it doesn't budge a bit in the wind. The outer material is super slick vinyl, very stretchy. The inside is really soft, almost batting-type, material. Like the stuffing inside a pillow.

whaap is right. Most detail companies advise against this if the car is going to be outside and exposed to the wind. Even if the car is clean, dirt inside the cover will eventually lead to scratches if the wind blows. This is kinda the same reason you don't see those leather front end bras anymore.

BradonM3- glad you like it.

+1 You have to keep it clean before you apply the cover, I would not even dress the wheel arches or tires as the dressing can rub on the underside of the cover , then need washed off.

Its fitted tight. If you lay it out and the sun and do it on a sunny day its easier to stretch over.
