No Contis for me

When I replace I plan on getting Continental ContiSportContact 3 SSRs as they should have a much better feeling ride that the OEM Bridgestones that were on there. My girl friend has a Mini Convertible and she got those tires from Tire Rack and what a difference compared to the Bridgestones. An very different feeling car now and less road noise.
My R56 MCS had those Conti tires. I hated them and am delighted with the Michelin Pilot a Super Sports. Of course they are not run flats so on long trips I carry a spare. Short trips of 150 miles or less I'll just have AAA tow the car home. Also, they are good in the rain but not going to function in snow or ice.

I have the Bridgestone Run flats and want to replace them so I was wondering if you could provide more details on the handling characteristics of the P7, strongly considering them myself. Thanks.

there are MANY different pirelli p7 tires, ranging from high performance summer only to touring all season, most also available as run-flats or non-rf

each type will have a different combination of longevity vs traction vs ride quality

goto tirerack.com and look for yourself
