I dont have my mini yet, but I like the center rail in the front idea, in fact it was a big selling point for me. In my mazda, and any standard US car, the console with the cup holders goes right behind the shift ****, so anything in the cupholder makes shifting smoothly or quickly damn near impossible. With the center rail and cupholders in front of the shifter, I find the mini to be much more driver friendly... (And yes, I did take my favorite coffee mug with me on the test drive)

 

No disagreement on the accessories. I use the cup holders to hold my nalgene bottle in the rail far more than as actual cup holders. Power throughout the rail would be a great use.

 

I have an e-mail out to the sales guy to see if he has any info on any color changes for 2014, with info coming out on changes like the rail I hope maybe they have a little more info on possible new colors. If I get any info I'll let ya'll know.

 

I hope they bring Yellow back for some models. Right now, you cannot buy a single yellow model, in the US at least.
