Well if I'm zipping around town in it by the 10th, I'll be a happy camper.

I hope we didn't get the batch with the new "countryman" tramp stamp.

Oh we DID. Definitely. Well, I did. I think you and I were pretty close or the same production week...

My dealer has already received one. I pre-warned them I'd be asking for their team to floss those off for me before delivery, and they agreed. I would ask yours to do the same. We can floss em ourselves, but why...

I'm more annoyed that after all the will they/won't they, the boot actually IS coming with no lid over the dropped floor if you have bench seats. I was holding out hope. I'll have to build something.

To be clear, you DID order the $250 flat load floor option?

kingfish:
no I didn't. At the time of my order there was a lot of confusion about it and I knew I didn't want to pay $250 for a second panel aligning with the bench seats folded down, which is what my MA and many others thought that option was. The assumption at the time was that the standard floor, flush with the floor of the car cabin, would be included as it was on all previous MINIs. But I heard rumblings that it might not. As it happens, it looks like it doesn't come with the cars after the mid-March production run.
You probably read the other thread on this...

I'm on the Torino also. Been hearing about this no lid over the dropped floor. I ordered the bench seat and the flat load floor for $250. Am I to understand that this is no longer an option? It's still a configurable item on MiniUsa.com.

And I just noticed you replied.

I think this statement is what's tripping people up. I ordered the FLF but some people are making it sound like even if you did it's not being installed.

Haven't seen a definitive answer.

Agreed kingfish; some are claiming even if you ordered it it won't be on the sticker and you won't be charged. Well see as more arrive.

WtH. i also ordered the flatload floor "option"! im still shocked that items that should obviously be standard are viewed as a $250 option. armrest option? ridiculous. well we better not get charged for the floor if we dont get it.

ive seen countryman made-to-fit floor options on some parts/accesories sights for considerably cheaper. not sure if it was outmotoring. maybe even amazon.

I made a false floor for my element easily enough. Of course that didn't need much grace, being a box. If I DIY this, I'll post my solution.

MINI pricing is really weird, they charge $250 for an armrest but only $100 for adaptive headlights. What's the deal with the $250 cargo net???

Finally. the next 5 days are about to go really slow.

Also the black headlamp housings are also only $100 but if you want them, you have to also purchase the $500 XEnons! outrageous.

Even more reidiculous is the white turn signals for $100! They come standard with every S & All 4 but if you want black lamp housings, you have to pay $100 extra for nothing extra.

I picked mine up from Crevier last month and their detailing dept sucks. You need to clay & wax your car after you bring it home because they don't do it. There are a lot of rail dust & contaminants from shipping & transport that they do not remove.

Oh yea I forgot about the white turn signals!
Several years back when i negotiated for my Nissan Armada, they threw in a bunch of accessories AND an extended warranty for gratis!
I'm sure ill have to pay for the $35 sport antenna and probably more if I want it "installed"

I do have to give Crevier props though. One of the schleppy service guys called me & told me my car was ready to be picked up. When I got there, I waited for about 20min before I saw them drive my dirty car into the washing station. I told them I needed my car right that second cuz I was late for work. They drove my car up covered in soap & I was late for work. Don't tell me its ready when its not.
I happened to know one the BMW managers that work there and I told him about that experience. He apologized dearly and insisted that i bring the car back the next day. I expected a routine wash. When i got the car back, not only did they wash it, but they fully detailed it AND removed some eye sore dents. Not sure how they did that but I was stoked.

Now if I have a problem with Crevier, I just email the GM Peter Maldonaldo and he gets things straighten out. The detailing upon pick up wasn't an issue as I rather wash & wax my own car, but if service is not up to par, I would be emailing him.

Yes my MA said i can expect to take delivery 5-8 days after the CM gets to port. Judging by ManHoldup's timeline, i hope to be sittin' pretty by Friday, the 10th. When can you expect delivery 3rdRail?

Yes Crevier's managers are good about keeping their customer's happy when it comes to their service dept. Too bad they cant modify accessory prices. Sounds to me like they owe you 1, ManHoldup. Oh yea, and how'd that beltline turn out?

For both of my previous ones, it was 2-3 days in port hueneme's receiving center, then up the state overnight by truck. 4-5 days total. Mileage varies

Cargo net is actually a vertical net behind the front seats. So you get a net and 4 built in anchor points. Two of which have cut outs in the headliner. I got it to keep the dogs from deciding to hop up front.
