I have a 2011 countryman all 4 s, i just noticed there is a whole in the intake tube, the mini is at the dealer right now getting some issues fix on it, and they are saying its normal for that to be there??????

I dont think that is normal to have a gaping whole on the intake tube. Maybe its just me. Speak to the service mamager and ask him to show you on another one.

 

Looks like a wire tie bracket used to be there. Perfectly normal for it to break off and for unfiltered air to be sucked into your motor? Absolutely horse sh*t.
