One of my co-workers has a new MCS, and had to take his car in for service. I was surprised when I saw him drive into our parking lot with a new CMSA4 service loaner. His dealer is Mini of Fairfield County in Darien CT.

 

I had a CMS All4 6MT loaner from my NY dealer twice while my car was in service. Just Sayin'

 

Sometimes dealerships give u the better model to make you consider upgrading

 

I kind of thought this as well because when my CM was in for the thermostat they gave me a fully loaded $40k CMSA4 as a loaner. I kind of wanted to upgrade, but then I got back in my own car and forgot all about it. I will say that a couple of other times when I was at the dealership they gave me a hardtop. I think they try to give you your own type, but if they don't have it then you get what they have. I was surprised that two of the times I got a 6MT. I thought that was cool.

 

I've had everything but a roadster now. Some have been base models with no options, others were loaded to the gills. Since mine is a manual, they try and give me one since most people don't know how to use them lol

I definitely discovered that I really don't like the clubman though. Had one for a week.
