R60 help~ color decision...
Mcqueen, I can relate somewhat with what you're going through. When I chose Horizon Blue for my MINI, I had never seen it in person before. I hadn't even seen the paint chip at the dealership. But I did see some photos here on NAM of the first few Horizon Blues that came to the US and so I decided to take the risk. Now, I absolutely love my Horizon Blue, as does my entire family, and I do not regret my decision at all. So my advice would be to look at as many pictures online as possible if you can't make it to the dealership before you need to make a decision. Good luck with your choice and with your final trimester!
Thank u all so much. Now after waiting for a while, they have two more colors available which is the pure red with black roof non s version and cosmic blue with white roof for the s version. These two colors r even nicer than the previous choices.... Hmm... Any of u pure red owners feel that the red is too stricking for daily use?
personally prefer ture blue
-white roof
-white sides mirror
-duo stripes (bonnet only)
-black rim
-beige interior

Here is my Countryman non-S in Pure Red. I bought it with silver wheels, but ended up finding a set of black wheels that I liked better.
BTW, I do feel that the car is underpowered in some situations like trying to merge quickly or speed up for some odd reason, but if you drop it down a gear or 2 it is usually fine. The last 6 cars I have owned have been modified turbo cars, the one I sold for this one was a 300+ whp awd Subaru. Even though my non-S Countryman is pretty much the slowest car I have ever owned, I still love it. In fact we loved it so much my husband bought a R56 non-S for his daily.

From this weekend, now with the stock 17" black wheels.

Just saw the yellow for the first time last week... Did. Not. Like. The coffee color is really cool. That and surf blue were the runners up to the light white that I got. My only gripe about light white is that most of the other Countryman I've seen around town are the same.

I think several of the colors have a varying appearance depending on the light - like pure red and royal gray. That makes for an interesting looking MINI and the variety is very likable.
Of course, the Light Coffee is pleasant to view every day.
Sealy seems to be happy every day with his pure red.

Doesn't the sight of that Pure Red just scream, "Be Happy!"???
Of course, I love coffee too. In fact, a day without coffee is like....Well, uh, sleep.
if light white were like alpine white, I would have got it. But as someone else made the observation, its like skim milk color. White and black due allow for really unique and easy color play with stripes though.
I love her so much that after only 8 months she is at 13,500 miles and ready for her first free service, not her first though as I did them in between too.
