any update on the Mignon??

 

Still no sign of the Mignon. Makes me a bit on edge since it is supposed to port tomorrow. It'll come back on sailwx.info and marinetraffic.com once it hits the US border. From there it's about 190 miles to port Heuneme. The ship has averaged 18mph so a little over 10 hours from the border. I'm sure she's running on time it's just unnerving knowing it's so close and not being able to see it.

 

Ok the Wallenius Willhelmsen website shows that the ship has cleared and been released from customs as of yesterday. That's a good sign

 

I just learned that my Countryman is on the Mignon! Woohoo! Looks like it is due into port in just under 10 hours (assuming the listed ETA is in local port time).

 

The Mignon is now in range. Looks like it's just off the coast around Huntington Beach:

Sure, they just superimposed an image of the vessel on the satellite view... but still... that's our ship!

 

Reading about your excitement brings back some fond memories. I was going through the exact same obsessive anticipation as the ship (Morning Carina) neared California. Once docked, it took exactly one week for its key to be placed in my hand. Exciting times, indeed. Best to you guys.

 

Ahhhhgr!!!!!!! I can't stand it anymore! I think knowing it's at port is worse than not seeing it for the past 9 days. I just want this wait to be over....ok breath..... Soon

 

The Mignon has left Port Hueneme, which means that the vehicles that are destined for my part of the world (San Francisco Bay Area) have been unloaded. One step closer!

 

Our cars should be at the VDC now. Only days left until we get our kids. PS so jealous. I saw my first coupe on the road yesterday. Grrr it's in MY neighborhood too!!!! Double grrrrr. Haha. jk. At least mine will have a friend.

 

So my MA called me and I have an ETA for pick up Dec 22nd. He thinks it'll be sooner. But I'm soooo excited now!!

 

I got the call from my dealer. Car will arrive at the dealer on 21st but i'll be going away for a week on 22nd. I made arrangements to pick up the car on the 30th

 

Got a call from my MA/ fleet manager in Nor Cal that my mini arrived today.I was on the mignon too. Looking forward to playing with my clubbie during winter break. Gonna pick it up tomorrow.

Got mine from stevens creek mini in santa clara today.

Very positive buying experience ..Jeff Mazzella was my ma/ fleet coordinator.

I read some negative comments on yelp about this dealership but I have nothing but positive to say about Mazzella.

Hassle free, good communication, good price ect.

So far all good..lets hope my baby continues to handle well for alot of miles!!

 

I got mine at South Bay Mini in Torrence. Chris was my MA. Amazing guy. really kept me informed on everything

Finally picked up mine yesterday afternoon & still trying to figure out all the functions

For those of you who love music and got the connected system, look into the MOG app for the iPhone. It integrates seamlessly with the connected system and blows pandora, Sirius, and any other music player out of the water. It's been great getting to know this car. Ive posted pics elsewhere but I'll post here as well later today. :-)
