I just got the 2012 Countryman. I have the iphone 4, but not the newest one. It works great, everyone hears me just fine and I hear them well also. It is very clear.

well, I did some extensive testing this past weekend using my iphone 3gs and two different iphone 4's, and noticed a very nominal difference, if any.

Out of ideas, probably just gonna ask the dealer to replace it.
