Wow! I had to go back a few pages to find this thread. I guess there are only a select few of us on here. I just ordered my Ox Mini I ordered it with the white roof and stripes, but I am seriously torn between that or the black roof and stripes. Does anyone have any good pictures of the hood with the green? I can't seem to find it and am not sure how visible they will be.

Thanks!!
Roo

Hey! I just noticed there is a lot of Colorado folks on here. I am in Boulder. Looks like I'll probably be seeing some other OG's around.

Oh I love it!! I was actually looking for a hood with the black bonnet stripes. Are they visible or do they disappear?

Ah, I misread. I contemplated the black stripes, but I was worried they'd be too dark; so I went with white.

If you look closely at the first picture in the set I posted here in January, you can see the black stripes on the hood. I never liked the look of the black glass in the sunroof with the white roof so I went with Black. The stripes are subtle but if you keep it clean and the sun is shinning like it does every day here in Colorado you can see them.

We need to start a Northern Colorado Oxford Green Countryman club. You will make at least 5.

FYI, I will be driving through Boulder tomorrow afternoon. I am doing some work in north Boulder in the morning. PM me if you are interested in a quick peek at the black on green.

Thanks for the offer! I have meetings in Denver all day tomorrow. I went ahead and took the leap and emailed my MA that I want to change the white to black. I like that it's a rare combination. I think in the long run, I will like it more. *fingers crossed*

One suggestion is to look at it at the Dealer before you have them put any kind of clear coat on the front. Then you could easily pull the stripes off and get different ones or leave them off entirely. Since I had the clear bra put on by the dealer I would have to pay to get that redone if I wanted to remove the stripes.

And here is one of my 10 month old puppy going for a ride. Once inside he actually has a lot of room to sprawl out and be comfortable.

Nice color combo. Like the green exterior with the beige leather.
Good looking puppy. I bet he eats more than both my dogs combined.

Thanks, the beige leather is awesome, comfortable and supportive. I got the chrome idea from someone else on this board, I'm pretty sure it was Don. Our pup does eat quite a bit, six cups of kibble a day, but hes worth it. Super laid back and loves going for rides. It's funny seeing his big head poking out the window.

Can't wait till the car is past the break in period, though it does have plenty of pep up to that 4500 rpm mark.

I finally got him!!! My OxGreen CMS has arrived and I picked him up tonight. Sorry for the not so great picture, but I am dying to show him off. I know many have said it before more, but this car is soooo much fun to drive!

Once I get my stripes, I'll be tempted to have my roof sprayed to match

And mine, about two weeks old now.

I know some complain that it's not British Racing Green, however this Oxford Green is quite beautiful... If I'd ordered mine, I'd probably have gone the all one color route...but there she was and how could I resist?

We wanted the bench seats from the moment we heard they were going to offer them...and our dog is very happy with them. The only thing I wish I had on this MINI is xenons... I've got them on my '10 MC and have always had them. I may have to get the driving lights down the line.

Although not the same experience as a Cooper, the Countryman is a great car, still very MINI like and extremely comfortable. Couldn't be happier with the decision! And now we can get up the driveway come winter!
