Hi all!!! After wanting a MINI for years now, I'm finally getting one!!! Crystal silver was my first choice, and after doing a lot of research (including this thread), crystal silver was what I went with.
My ma laughed when I had him open up "my garage" on the MINI website. All were silver
So on August 19, I officially ordered a 2014 Crystal Silver Countryman S All4, automatic. I went with the black roof and mirror caps, black headlight housings with white signals/xenon lights/adaptive, chrome interior, Black color line, Piano black cockpit surface, flat load floor, JCW Interior with Champion Red LL seats, Loaded Package (mini connect without Nav), Technology Package, All season tires, 17" 5 star double spoke black wheels, Compass rear view mirror (so I could get garage door opener), black driving lights, sport antenna, and mud flaps. I've been checking the owner's lounge daily, and several times per day, lol. I read this morning that people would ask their ma's about production date. I emailed mine. My new guy went into production on August 27 around 7:32 am!!!!!!!!! That's awesome news especially after such a bad week (had to put our 14 year old dog down). Anyway, the ma said he would update me whenever he sees any changes. I just went to the Owner's Lounge, and sure enough....in production. My husband has already been looking at mods. I'm going to have custom stripes put on. I would like to do something with the sunroof, but not sure what's the best way to go with that....vinyl/tint/? I'm thinking of some kind of "classic" horse image (we have horses). I might wimp out, and just go for tint. Just not sure. There's so many things to do with a MINI. I'm just amazed! Just super excited to see it in production!

My condolences for you dog. What a tough thing. You chose a great mini though. I'm so glad you got driving lights. I have them on my silver mini (I opted chrome) and they really add so much to the look of the car. I see a ton of Countryman where I live - but very few with lights. Thank you for the condolences. The tracking of my mini has helped keep my mind off the loss. If my mini looks as good as everyone's CS on here, I'll be very happy! I'm glad I added the driving lights as well. There's not that many minis around our area, but I still think the driving lights will help mine stand out a bit. I just got an email from my ma saying mine is built. Production finished today (Sept. 5). Now to just get him loaded onto a ship. Does any one know how often the ships leave? Once a week, or every couple of weeks, etc. I think it would be neat to see the distribution center in GA.

My MA just emailed. The K-Line boat Michigan Highway left out today. ETA is Oct. 2. I was hoping for a WW boat, but I'll take what I can get. I've been waiting for this, now that it's on the water, I think I'm more worried than ever!

My CM is hopefully currently on the way to the dealer. I was originally going to go with black viper stripes, but I am thinking I want something a little different. Looking for pics of silver striped with colors besides black or red.

This is our Countryman in Crystal Silver. It's Cooper S with Steptronic. We have already done some tuning as you can see.
