Where did you get your silver bulbs? I was disappointed when I ordered clear turn signals and only got clear covers!
I ordered mine from Sixity on their eBay store. Their sixity.com site has a bug on checkout and when I contacted them they told me to go through eBay. Shipping was quick and there were no surprises with the transaction. Originally Posted by SoonerMack

The only caution flag for the install is the side marker lights can be inserted in a posistion where the filaments do not make contact. If the bulb does not light up remove it and rotate 180 degrees which will get the filaments in the proper position.

Nice lookin ride Cobra. Good luck with her. Are you going to swap out the antenna for a stubbie? I had that and the Weather Tech floor mats in hand before our CMS arrived. The stubbie works great btw.Originally Posted by Cobra-racer

Hi Hobie,
Stubby done, black DL covers done. Probably should update my gallery to reflect current status but I was too busy enjoying the LI weather yesterday cleaning and detailing my 2 silver MINIs. My blue MINI is under cover in the trailer for the winter.
Not sure on the floor mats as this is a "joint" vehicle and my other half hates rubber mats, hence the regular need to vacuum the carpets. Probably going to acquire a back up set of carpets.
I may take a trip to EH and SoHamp on the 21st if you are in the area.

Took delivery of the new baby just a few days before Christmas but with all of the holiday craziness (8 house guests!!) this is the first chance I've had to post any pictures. I've been concentrating my time now on getting my beloved 02 "justa" ready for sale....Gonna be real sad to see it go but I bought it when I was single and my kids are now 6 & 7 and the back seat is a little cramped. The Countryman came out just in time to keep me as a MINI owner. God knows what I would have ended up with!
Anyway, as a 9 1/2 year MINI owner and early adopter I feel like MINI has done a great job of opening up the brand to the needs of bigger families. It still has the look and feel of a true MINI and I hope I can continue to be a miniac until they bury me in my 20 year old 2050 MINI "whatever"!

This is the most beautiful mini I've seen of any model/color type. We were on the fence on color etc. but your car sold us on the silver. I think we're going with the darker seats - though I love the look of yours. What a great all around combination.Originally Posted by Hobie44610

She is awesome!!!
i wish i could have bought two. i bought christina for my wife, but now i want one. i cannot seem to stop customizing/personalizing. so far i have added reflective silver accents in the mini emblems, tinted windows, amber led's for the front turn signals, blacked out the reflectors on the fender trim, added black jack seat towels and countryman emblem on the back. now im wanting to add more pep to the motor with a intake, but still shopping. i also like the front splitter that comes with the jcw aero kit. and the roof rack. there is so much that can be done to mini's. this is my first mini and now i'm addicted! i opted for just about everything but awd, heated seats/mirrors and did not get navigation, just the connected. the adaptive zenon are awesome. i could talk for hours about how good it is. i get lots of compliments and looks on the road.

Purchased on 11/22/11. So far, windows tinted, short antenna on its way, and coco mats ordered. Swapped headlight bulbs yesterday. My second MINI...really liking it!
Love your garage floor! We did the epoxy so ours is blue with dark blue paint specs, looks really good and will be very welcoming when MiniMe gets here!Originally Posted by John Felix

I think it would be neat to group all of the color threads into a folder which is "sticky" as a resource for both current and potential (future) owners...
Forum Admin? What do you think?
I think this would be an awesome idea! I'm always having to hunt down the Surf Blue club. But then it is easy to find when you've got the club list. Originally Posted by bentyyc

Wow I've had mine since last May and all i've done is mudflaps! well, i've got the bumper mounted bike rack too, but havent done any other mods yet. I like the countryman badge and the reflective accents, is it a do it yourself job or a kit? looks coolOriginally Posted by countryman-s

I need to order some badges too. Is it weird if I do that before I even have my car? lol

I've already ordered a badge and my car is awaiting a boat... lol
I'll post a pic of the badge when I get it.

they were DIY projects. i bought a roll of reflective tape from ebay and got the idea for adding it to the mini emblems, and i got the letters for COUNTRYMAN from bimmian.com. i have wanted to add countryman somewhere on the car and i thought cooper s on one side of the hatch looked uneven. plus many cars have the model on the back. Hey shmandrew,
Sorry but I'm not that advanced for loading a sound byte. What I've come to realize is that it is about the same as the stock exhaust sound just a little deeper. When it is under load i.e. kicking in the passing gear or just driving agressively then yes there is a noticable sound difference compared to stock. Deeper and more throaty.

Thanks. I want something that's going to be pretty tame until I really step on it, so the Magnaflow kit sounds about right Originally Posted by sbdubya

New side graphics went on today. Here's a quick iPhone shot at the installers.
I'm likin' the checks...besides, with gas headed to $5+ a gallon, I can turn the Countryman into an actual taxi now!
