I may be putting some JCW side skirts up for sale. They are in great condition, come with all necessary hardware and already pre-painted Royal Gray Metallic. PM me if interested.

Actually, both pics are lowered lol. I didn't bother posting a before pic.

Here's another slightly better one where you can see the reduced gap in the wheel well.

By the way, I ordered some spacers from you guys ECS can't wait to put them on. I'm hoping 5mm in the front and 10mm in the rear will the do the trick without rubbing.

New to us 2013 - bought used 4/24/2015

Unusual options - Nav, black light housing, auto entry, auto climate - carbon black inside - sport suspension- auto tranny with sport.

But not the Sport package -

Anyway - do they have always take a long time to cool off on a warm day or should I bring it in for a look see?

The air coming out is cold - but not very much of it - even on Max.

I'll check the cabin filter too -

They can get hot with the turbo and you should here the little aux water pump running a little longer after a the car shuts off.. The fan will kick on after hard runs but should stop after a minute or so.

"The air coming out is cold - but not very much of it - even on Max. "

Now that above and the fact you said it long time to cool off points to the thermostat housing might have a leak. When the thermostat housing leaks or is the system low on coolant , the fan runs very long even on short runs and the heater core ( interior heater ) never gets really warm.

Get it checked out asap. You should be under warranty.

Here are the parts : It will leak coolant onto and pool on top of the transmission housing. The Coolant is blueish in color which is a BMW /MINI specific coolant.

Thanks

Thanks - I used a sun screen this am -and took it for a little more of a drive - and it cooled right down fine -

guess I was not clear but it was the ac not cooling - and it does not appear to be a problem -

I'll keep an eye on the other - did BMW use a plastic housing?

Ok, you scared me there on a thermostat housing leak with the heater only blowing cold air and the cold down situation.

The thermostat housing is a composite plastic and on older MINIs , mostly N14 engines ( not your N18 engine ) the thermostats can develop a leak at the bottom with many miles.

My comment had NOTHING to do with heat or coolant - it had to do with AC not blowing very much air - it was cold enough . . .

On the Cabin filter, I would check if its clogged on the air (A/C ) not blowing much.
