R60 Official Royal Gray Owners Club
I have been looking at Countryman S, ALL4 or not, at the local dealers. Just this Saturday, the dealer I am probably going to work with called and advised they had a new Countryman just delivered with ordered cars. In fact, the delivery trailer dropped off six Countrymans of various colors and styles, and five were orders.
The one Countryman S he called me is Royal Gray, very loaded, and has Light Coffee Lounge Leather installed. According to Mini USA, that color combo is not available. I searched the forum and came up with this:
T9GX Light Coffee Lounge Leather not available with Royal Grey, True Blue, Pure Red, Bright Yellow, Surf Blue, or Oxford Green.
The car looks awesome. Black roof & caps and anthracite wheels. I would add the Viper stripes - the one package not on the car is Sport and no sunroof either. It has everything else.
Anyone else have that color combo or seen it?

Blackout Treatment on RG
My CM visited Vinyl Styles today and had the headlights, grille, tail lights, and belt mouldings blacked out.
I just grabbed some quick pictures with the phone and the car is filthy. I'll post some more but not until a much needed bath or after the driving lights are installed

Nope. Vandalism. Dude must have been really dumb, they usually break the front passenger window. I guess he thought there was something good in that boot.
That kind of crap gets my blood boiling! Freakin punks.
I was in San Antonio this past weekend for my son's Air Force graduation - someone used a key on the stripes and put a small dent the boot outside our hotel room.
My dealer is going to remove the dent and I am hoping the vinyl guy has the stripes I do not have fitted on the sunroof still available to redo the trunk.

Bump
Friday Royal Gray bump.
Butch's rear window has been replaced BTW, but between business travel and a snafu at the shop it took more than two weeks to get the new glass installed. Now I need to make an appointment for tint and the shop pointed out that several interior trim pieces were scratched by the broken glass. I am trying to decide if I want to deal with the hassle of coordinating having the appraiser back out and taking the car back in or if I should just live with it.
Anyway, here's Butch the Royal Gray CM with its Pepper White R53 bunk mate.

If the damage to the fabric is minimal it might not be worth the hassel. Though if they can be worsened by general use over time, it might be worth having it taken care of.
Nice looking pair of vehicles you've got there!
Glad to hear the rear window is taken care of, too bad it wasn't the smoothest process.

Thanks! Both cars are fun and the smaller of the two is holding up better than I expected. Hopefully the CM will do the same.
The additional glass related damage it to the plastic trim inside the tailgate. The shattered glass gouged the plastic. I made an appointment with the insurance appraiser so they can document it. I might get it fixed during the first service visit but I've decided that I would rather live with it than make a special trip to a body shop.
That will be a nice color combo.
What color top / mirrors did you go with?
Black top, mirrors and wheels. Found it across country and it's being transported to me - a 2012 with 2800 miles at a substantial savings and avoidance of first owner depreciation. The only thing it doesn't have that I would have ordered differently is the three across back seat and the middle grade fabric-leather combo seats. But I can live with both of the differences, especially since the seats are more costly and apparently even better than my first choice.
