MCC S coughing in Sport Mode ?

Hi guys,

I'm a long time reader, 1st time poster.

Anyone else notice MCC S coughs when in Sport mode, Rev the engine up to 4k and take your foot off.. let me know if you hear the left exhaust kick back a few times.

If you have an '11, it's an intentional design feature:

Most of us love it. Others do not. Que sera sera.

They took the burble out with the initial redesign of the R56's et al, people complained. They put it back in and people complain. I like it.

Midway between 8000-9000 miles…and I swear it just gets deeper and better with every mile. Still need to design it as Sport On…unless pushed off. It's just become daily habit after pushing the start & running/fog switch.

Love the popping sounds! Had a guy at a stop light ask me how I got it to do that. I told him it was programmed to do that in sport mode. I guess....

I'm ambiguous until it starts sounding like a single backfire which mine sometimes does. I also don't like that it does it even when not really decelerating. It happens when I am decelerating from 25mph in downtown Savannah. I LOVE the tightened steering that comes with the Sport Button. I would love that feature to be active all the time. The burble??? Eh.
