New Pure Orange owner here...

Looking to pick up a new Pure Red CMS tonight. Unfortunately I wrecked by 2004 MC40 recently and it was totaled, but this may be a blessing in disguise. Our kids are getting older and the coupe was getting a little inconvenient. We stopped by the MINI dealer last weekend to have a look at the Countryman S and really liked what we saw. I wanted to configure one from scratch, but they said it would be about 10 weeks. Thought about buying an old E30 or something to drive while I waited, but in the end decided to go with one they had on the showroom floor.

I LOVE the Pure Red color. This one sitting under the fluorescent lights with the black roof/mirrors looked completely orange. Not a bad thing, IMHO. The one outside in the sunshine with white roof/mirrors looked pretty close to my Chili red MC40.

This one has the Premium Package, which I probably would have skipped. It does not have the Sport Package, which I would have added, but it does have the 18" 5 star double spoke wheels from the Sport Package. They also added driving lamps and stripes. I would have ordered the driving lamps, but not the stripes. Overall, I think it's a pretty sweet looking CMS. Here are a couple pics from the showroom floor (from salesman's phone, so quality is not great).

I like the look! I'm a true blue owner myself, but I can appreciate a nice orange R60.

Thanks! True Blue was on the top of the list too. Right behind white. The True Blue reminds me of the Estoril Blue on the E36 M3, beautiful color. The Pure Red kind of reminds of Henna Red from the E30 M3.

Just got home with the new addition and she's resting in the garage. Need to go out in a few to program some of the options to my key. I don't have nav or connected, but there are so many gizmos on this sucker compared to my MC40. Heck, the MC40 didn't even have cruise!

Loving this car...

Well, that pretty much sums up the Pure Red experience. Just don't tell too many people - we like to keep the PR Club exclusive.

Side Note - A man approached me in the Metro Lot and told me how much he liked my car. Said he walked by it every day and it made him smile and feel happy. Me, too.

Hey! That's my dealership! Saw that one in there when I was looking at what to get. It was great looking! Nice! Wish I had my car already.
