R60 Chrome Sticker Stripe

Unhappy Chrome Sticker Stripe

The "Chrome" sticker under the rear window seems to be off. I am concerned that with heat and water, it will peel away completely as it has just started to peel.

Is this covered under warranty? I picked up the car last Friday!

Welcome to the club. I have this happening on 5 pieces right now.

MINI is aware and they are working on a fix. Expected mid July. Some of the dealers have chrome problems on cars right off the boat.

MINI will see this problem fixed for sure. It seems to be a "batch" over a certain time frame. I took delivery in early January and have no trouble yet.

Thanks for the update. I was supposed to have my 5-pieces replaced today but canceled the appointment as I would rather wait for the fix or redesign and get those installed so maybe I will not have this issue again.
