R60 MA just got me my 2012 Order Guide
I'm still curious to see what the price is going to be for the rear bench seat (it's a no cost option in some other countries). Also there has been no word if there will be an increase in 2012 CM pricing. I've seen in some other 2012 threads that someone mentioned that their may be a 5% increase in pricing.
I hope that's not true. :fingerscrossed:

Sometimes? More like usually, I have yet to buy a car where the salesman has actually know as much as me, it depressing the lack of knowledge they are allowed to have.

I hope that's not true. :fingerscrossed:Also got word today from my MA that 2012 production is pushed from Jul to Aug now. He expects pricing details in Jul, but went further to state that he didn't think there would be a substantial change in price. Packages may see the most cost variation for the ones with new content, but changes overall should be slight.
I was interested in the bench also (only because the wife wanted it), but since it's not in production until Nov, the car won't arrive until Jan at the earliest, so she told me it wasn't a deal breaker. Hopefully it's also a no cost option for those interested.

Your MA rocks! Mine not so much, but he did speculate that he thinks production is going to start in July, but the MINI dealers in the USA aren't going to get any allocations for July production because supply is so tight. All of the allocations are going to be given to dealers in europe because profits are higher there.
I have no idea if this is true in the least. I hope not because August production might be too late for since I may need a car sooner than November. My MINI obsession has taken full hold and having to drive around something else would not be good.
When it looked at if we were going to have to wait for a 2012 slot, I asked our MA about a 5% price increase and he commented that he knew there would be an increase but he knew it wouldn't reach 5%. I hope he's right...
The order guide that the OP posted comes well in advance of MINIUSA establishing the pricing. At this point, only MINIUSA knows the numbers that are being considered. That a dealer communicates ANY pricing speculation at this point is just that -- speculation. They simply don't know.
However, I did receive confirmation regarding the SOP shift from July to August. Whether that shift will cause a pushing-out of options with previously stated Sep/Nov SOP is...well...speculation.
If you get information from your dealer that is not documented in official communications, ask the source of the information and push back a little. MINIUSA controls information very carefully (sometimes TOO carefully!); they are not going to spill the beans to any single dealer without simultaneously communicating to ALL dealers. If your dealer says they have the "inside scoop" on forthcoming information, it's time to push back!

This is the email my MA sent to me when I asked about 2012 package pricing.
Hi Jodie, just got to work and checked out some pricing on the Countryman S. The base price is going up 100.00 dollars but now includes the cosmopolitan floor mats on all countryman so basically no increase. The packages are changing on the mini's. We have not received the new packages for the Countryman but are supposed to get them by tomorrow. If the packages are the same as the Mini's the convenience pkg. has been discontinued. The new package is called the premium pkg. which includes alarm system, comfort access, chrome line interior, auto-dimming rear view mirror, rain sensor wipers with daylight funtion and automatic a/c. List price is 2250.00 but with the pkg. savings is priced at 1750.00. There is also a new pkg. called the Technology pkg. which includes center armrest, rear park distance control, Harmon Kardin sound system, and Mini connect. List price is 2500.00 but with pkg. savings is 1750.00. I do not know yet if the pkgs. will be the same on Countryman but will hopefully be able to let you know by tomorrow.

I've attached it here for reference.
I don't know about the rest of the site, but the 2012 options and packages are available in the configurator. They have been up for about a month.
