I placed the holder on the rail just behind the center armrest-it fits perfectly, doesn't get in the way of the armrest, and is easy to reach.

Of course this doesn't apply if you didn't get the one-piece rail...

Looks like it would be perfect for storing papers and doobies. Or so I would think. No personal experience.

Looks awesome. I want the same combo. But I may opt for the anthracite wheels. I just can't picture how that would look though. You can't get black wheels with the white roof.

A pet peeve of mine. Why, with the CTM, does MINI prohibit you from ordering certain color combinations together? Isn't it up to me to decide if I want to be garish, not MINI?

Really beautiful! When we ordered, all they had at the dealership was the little color chip in Surf Blue -- it looks totally different from that in your pictures. I imagine it is gorgeous in person.

Missing functionality

Well, one thing that I've found missing from at least one previous car is an auto-dipping passenger mirror. One that would automatically lower to allow the driver to see the curb when the car is put into reverse. Great for parallel parking!

Not a biggee, but an FYI!

I agree 100%. Shouldn't it be up to us to decide what option combination's to choose? It is all about personalization.

Yes! This is the one thing I miss from my old car. I park in Seattle a lot and while its not necessary, it does make things much easier!

I've seen modules that you can add to the R56 that allow you to do this...not sure if they work with the R60.
