R60 Where are you?
I live in DFW TX, but like to travel to the mountains and beaches so I bought an all4. Not to mention in a general year around Dallas/Fort Worth there might be 2 days you need 4 wheel drive (unless you are hosting the superbowl). It is really nice to have it. Of course my R52 would do very well on nasty ice days.
Ft Myers, Fl...went with the S here but should have probably with the All4 just to run over the snowbirds during season! I will find out how it does this winter when we head back to New England for the holiday season.
No need for City or State for me with such a famous neighborhood.
After having two Subies we're too used to AWD to turn back now. Great for pulling in and out of snowy/icy parking spots on our hilly street.
The wife's been waiting years for an AWD MINI. Would have gotten one last year but the back seat buckets were a deal breaker.

Wow! Old post never die - they just fade away and then, suddenly, come back to haunt you.
Just as a reminder, this was a request to put your location in your profile so we can tell where you are asking questions from. Good to see that alot of CMers are doing it.

Hi All! New Mini owner here from Honolulu, Hawaii. Patiently waiting for the arrival of our Light White "S". Our MA says it should be here middle of July. The wait is just unbearable. It will be sharing a garage with a pearl white 2011 4Runner. Can't wait to start posting on this forums
It was back in '71 or '72 - on R&R (rest/relax) from Vietnam. I wanted to go back tan-all-over - so I got rid of my light white **S.

Sealy - Who hates it when his jokes fall flat.

I see you got rid of your "light white" for the pure red burn!
Need any lotion?
D'oh! LOL! I see what you did there… Too bad there aren't any face palm smilies available.
I went with the all white CMS FWD. So if you are cruising in town, and see me, throw up the shaka!

You going to use all season tires in New England? I guess you really won't have any reason to get snow tires.

No plans on using anything but the all season tires on it for the trip. Im looking to get new shoes with some nice soles, so the stockers will be perfect for the trip.
I am in N. Muskegon, Mi which is on the west side right on Lake Michigan. Our first Countryman was a FWD 6MT Base and it did just fine last winter with snow tires. The opportunity came up this past weekend so now I have a S All4 6MT and can't wait for it to snow. With it being almost 100* today I think I am going to have to wait a while.
Light White ALL4 with lots of mods... In New Canaan, CT, and the backside of Stratton, VT
Kowalski handles the Vermont snow beautifully and even drove right past our stuck suburban this past winter
We'll see how he will do with his new shoes, 19" wheels with Continental DWS All seasons

I have had Max since 5/11, he has 21,500. I live in Gallup,NM (ie route 66, heart of native American country). I have made two roads trips this year one to San Diego in January and OBX in May. I did not get to use the All4 much this year but we normally get a lot of snow.
