If you are in the US, a new car is required to have a window sticker (aka "Monroney sticker") affixed to a window. This sticker must list ALL the factory options and their MSRP's. If the Sports Suspension option is not listed, and the dealer charges you for it, he is violating Federal law.

I believe over on Motoringfile, they stated that the Sports Suspension, in addition to 1 cm drop, also has 1 mm larger f&r anti-roll bars. This is probably more important than the slight drop in my opinion.
