R60 Countryman loses to Nissan Juke - -Motor Trend
I can't do the juke. 
We did order a new Countryman ALL4 S.
As for ugly, no just a bit different from the R56 Coupe and Clubbie or any of the MINIs.
I find the body lines flow well and I like the sweep of the roofline towards the rear.
On thing I think will take some getting used too is the grill on the S and ALL4 S, not sure I like the slight frown.
