Newbie here ordering her MINI hopefully this weekend!

Howdy all!!

I'm new here. I'm planning to order my "first" MINI this weekend. I plan on getting a black MCS with white roof and bonnet strips, w/ the Premium & Convenience packages. I was planning on getting the Hyper Sport pack. I've been practing driving manual with my husband for the past couple Sundays, since this will be my first manual car. I was going to get the checkered sunroof cover, but I think I'm going to find someone here in SoCal to place black checkers on the outer edges of my sunroof, because I don't want to cover my sunroof.

Any idea how long I can expect this car to come in to SoCal for me after ordering? Also does anyone know of a good place in Southern California that I can get my checkered roof taken care of? And does anyone have any recommendations on which dealership in Southern California I should check out?

Thanks all... as you can tell... I'm way too excited to get my order in!!!

Welcome to NAM!! I can't help you with the dealership search, but here's a hint on the roof graphic. When I had my 04MC I had a graphic Co. install 2"
white checkers[black roof] around the outside of the sunroof and it looked great. I also had BW checkered mirror caps. Good luck and happy motoring!!

South Bay MINI

At South Bay MINI we are an MSRP dealership and if you still need help learning to drive stick when your car comes in we are more than willing to give you a few lessons!

Our wait time right now is as follows; your MINI would be May production and would arrive at our dealership the last week of June in the worst case the first week of JulY! We also have a roof graphic installer that may be able to assist you with the checkered pattern around the edge of the sunroof.

Feel free to contact us at South Bay MINI we can be reached at 310-9397300 and you can ask to speak with any available motoring advisor.

KEEP IT MINI!
