Hey guys, my name is Brett and I'm from Texas(duh). I don't own a Mini yet, but I'm kinda kicking around the idea. I drove a 5spd cooper the other day and I really liked it, though I thought it could have used a little more umph so I might be looking into an S. Do you guys have any kind of buying advice for me? Like what kind of things should I look for when test driving? How expensive are these things to maintain? I'm 100% on buying a mini yet, but I think driving an S might be all it takes to get me there so hopefully I can do that soon.

 

Welcome to NAM, Bret! Are you looking to buy new or used? The MINI is completely redesigned for the 2007 Model Year, but there are still some 2006s on the lots. Plan on paying MSRP. Best idea is to test-drive every model. But be warned: once you have, you will HAVE to get a MINI!
