Got a VIN number now how long?

It's took 2 weeks to go from on order to in production. How long is the production time, shipping, etc.

Between eight and nine months.

No, it should take about one week for production time. A few days to a week or more to get aboard ship. Three weeks time across the pond for West Coast delivery. Less for East Coast. Additional time to get from the distribution center to your dealer.

The site doesn't always update in the most timely fashion. I had my MINI 2 days before the site said it was delivered to the dealer.

It seems like the site updates on a weekly basis.

The Ask Mini automated sytem has seen fairly current this week, maybe one day behind the live information provided by an operator. They were accurate with telling me my production start date, my anticipated finish date, the day it left the body shop, went to the paint shop and now undergoing assembly.
