I am a new member; but don't currently own a Mini. I was the proud owner of a previously owned Solid Gold, Black Sunroofed MC 2003 until last August when I spun out on some gravel on a narrow 2 lane blacktop hairpin corner and rolled it 2 times in a Missouri beanfield. It didn't help the bean feilds yield, totaled the Mini but only damage I got was a sore back for a few weeks after. My wife, being skeptical about the Mini's safety when I bought it, was completely convinced on their durability, and gave me her blessings to purchase another. Since the insurance only enough to pay off car loan with enough to buy a older used Buick for tempoary use, it will be a year or so before I buy another, but I look at it as plenty of time to pick out the new one. Maybe I will put some Bonnet Stripes on the Buick until then!

Welcome! Nice to hear that all you had was a sore back after rolling it. I agree, the buick definitly needs bonnet stripes (and maybe matching roof color ).
