Here I am another new member.
The reason I joined is that my son bought a 02 Cooper S.
Winter is comming up and we are trying to winterize the car.
Had an expantion tank failure a couple of months ago and had to replace it.
Now I need to drain the radiator and add antifreeze, but can't find the drain plug. Looks like I'm going to have to remove a lot of stuff just to get to the bottom of the radiator.
My question is where the heck is the drain plug located on this car?
I've found out that the Cooper is one great car, and really want to take good care of it. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

That expansion tank may still be under warranty. There was a recall. I've had mine replace three times. There clearly was something wrong with them. I have a 2002, and I live in New Mexico
