Congrats! Four weeks is incredible!

 

4 weeks! That's not bad. All of our dealer's MCS convertibles were spoken for until our week 40(or 41, I'm not sure - it was finished on 10-10-06) production. Our ship docked in Charleston yesterday morning, but we originally ordered in mid September...it will likely end up being a total of 8 weeks from start to finish.

 

Well, our ship finished unloading last night at about 8pm in Charleston and is now back at sea. I guess the odds of it getting on a truck before Monday is fairly slim. Does anyone know if the VCD operates on weekends?

 

Our ship is scheduled to dock at Charlston on the 2nd of November. One month from the day that we placed our order. The MA said today that they would/should have it no later than the 9th. Since it is already "sold" it has a pirority 1, and would on the first trucks out.

D@#&%, I have never been this way about any other cars/trucks/ or scooters.

 

Got a call from our MA today...our car should be at the dealer by close today. Of course, they are closed on Sundays...but, we will hopefully make the trip to Nashville and pick it up on Monday. Oh, happy day.

 

Grrrr. My MCS was unloaded on Friday in NY, but the Owner's Lounge still says "En Route." I want to know where it is!

 

The OL will update about a week after you take delivery. :-) Call your MA; they should know what's going on, now.

Mine's supposed to be unloading today. My MA's told me it should be ready for me to pick up on Friday; 2 days to ship (via truck) from NY to Massachusetts, and then another couple of days for the certificate of origin to be delivered to the dealership.

 

Drove our new MINI topless from Nashville to Knoxville TODAY...a great drive...great weather for top-down motoring. Plenty of time for that later.

My wife is hounding me to give it a name, but I'm not so sure. I'm just looking forward to my morning commute. (Now, to sell that SUV.)

 

YES! Estimated delivery date is the 7th!

 

Hello PKAT - Have you gotten any update on your mini? Mine was built October 12th...no word yet. I am keep up through your updates - hoping I'm on the same boat that we can't trace. No info from my MA at all on the status... Sold my old car...biking to work...Hope it's very very soon!! You said your ship will dock in Charleston on Nov. 2nd with priority transporting to the dealers. Please post any new updates. Thanks

Sorry, but I have not received any more info. I will make it a point to let you know when I hear some more info. We ran into a couple here the other day. They had a PW/B MCS... just had to stop and look at it and drool.....

 

The ship dock this morning and is scheduled to unload.

Next week????

 

Another Monday morning...No update on the website...No update from the MA. Have you heard anything new today on our mini's? There is just too much time between the update reports.

Mine is supposed to dock on the 12th. I should be picking it up around the 15th-17th. I am having several things installed at the dealer, which should take a few days. I shall be motoring in a little over a week.

 

Just got an update from my MA that my MINI S is going to dock in Southern California on Nov. 14th... then 4-6 days after that it should be at the dealer... Its getting SOOOOOOOO close... i cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Production Week 41 - Baby born October 12th - I will be picking baby up Saturday, November 11th (11/11) Sounds like a good number to me!! I can't wait....It took 6 weeks from the original order...

 

I should be getting mine on the 11th as well.

I'm picking mine up this Friday. I saw it at the dealership *last* Friday when getting some work done on my current MINI. Looks good!

 

Great news. I was just going to tell you that our Mini is in at the dealer. It will be Monday before I will have the time to pick up the Mini. Otherwise, it would of been Saturday too.

Ordered on 10.02, built on 10.11, unloaded on 11.3, at the dealer 11.8.........
There is no way that I can find fault with that time frame.

 

It was supposed to be at the dealer 11/7, but now it's 11/10

 

I'll be picking up my MINI saturday 11/11 as well!!
