Dealer/Manufacturer Gifts

After our salesman gave us the vehicle briefing and pulled our car out of the showroom - he gave us a folding sport chair (red). Its actually a really nice chair and it caught me off guard, especially after I got them to throw in the premium rubber floor mats and an extra key at no charge.

Congratulations! By extra key you mean you got three total? Just curious I pick mine up soon...

Comes with two keys, and one limited use valet key (small enough to fit in a wallet). I ended up with three keys, plus the valet key.

Way to go Drew! I always like to hear good negotiation stories. Especially when not much can be negotiated on a MINI.

Considering they stuck me in the rear without even buying me a drink or lubing me up on my trade - its the least they could do. No complaints about the sales department though. The finance guy was really pushing us to use their financing which upset me. A generally good experience. Now I realize how much more I like buying "higher end" vehicles as apposed to the kind of lots where they push you to buy, take it home and let it sleep in your garage, come back tomorrow and we'll sign the paperwork. Pushy salespeople can rot under my tire.
