Order of Events during Production of Mini?
Hi Everyone.
I'm inquiring to find out the order of events as it relates to building a Mini. I'm somewhat confused how a car can be in the Body shop and Paint and then expected to be done that same day
. During a tour recently of the Corvette plant in KY, the cars are painted and then engines, interior, brakes, wheels etc are added and the car is completed.. Anyone have any info on the Mini build??

First is the "Body in White" phase... That's the assembly of the frame...
Next is the paint process....
Next is the full assembly process (wheels, interior, etc...)
Don't rely on the Owner's Lounge if you're trying to figure out timing... It's less than accurate.
