I'm a proud father of a 06 MCS
Well my new baby was delivered on 8/19/06 and was a healthy baby girl weighing in at 2,679lbs. I named her KITT. Pepper White, Black Top & Mirrors, clear shield installed on bonnett, headlamps, fog lights, side mirrors, 6 speed transmission, 17inch high performance run-flats, premium & sport package and the HK sound system with ipod interface.
I have a question. I just had the ipod interface installed and of course it only displays the number of the track. I've heard that BMW/Mini is coming out with a new interface allowing to show the artist, song name etc. Is this true. This sucks if it is because I just had the old interface installed. Can anyone confirm this. His the link that I read.

Do you have the video ipod? I've found (somewhat intermittently) that when plugged in, I have full access to the ipod menu - not just the MINI playlists.
If you have an older ipod, you're stuck with the MINI lists, though. There's probably much more discussion in a different forum.

Congrats!
I was told about 9 months ago that the new ipod adaptor for the MINI would be available in about a month. I finally gave up and put in the current one. I'm hoping for the new one, but I'm not holding my breath.

Well, Congrats on the new babe in the woods, I guess pepper white is as close to kinfolk as you could call it. My parents was goin to git a pepper white and saw me sitting on the showroom floor topless, then my daddy said, that's the sexy one for me......and off we flew to the woods.
