daytime running lights/wheel sensors

Can BMW/MINI turn the daytime running light feature off?I hate them. Also what do you guys do when you change to an aftermarket wheel/tire setup. Do the sensors swap over? Will MINI turn the light off? or do you just deal with the TPMS light staying on????

The sensors are not in the wheels, the MINI uses wheel speed/ABS sensors.
Just set the pressure, and reset the light.
