Last night I was leaving to my friends house and when I exited my driveway heading towards the stop sign my shifter wouldnt come out of 2nd and my clutch pedal was jammed. Then my car stalled and wouldnt start again. Today AAA picked it up and towed it to my local repair shop they said its the shifter and that they wouldnt touch it because it has 1 more week of warranty. So the starter is going to cost 600 bucks . Thank god for the warranty!

But its a real bummer tho, the mini is such a pleasure to drive

Just keep up the hope and get motoring again. Life is a play, how one interprets the road is individual.

i knew it wasnt the starter cause the car totally screwed up. the engine somehow got flooded. its gonna cost 6000 dollars in parts just to fix it. i dont know if the insurance is gonna pay for it yet, they're gonna do an investigation next monday. the only good news is that bmw told me that this is a fairly common problem in miami cause of all the rain and it only takes a little bit of water to flood the engine.
