Another new MINI ordered...
After lurking around here for the past few months, I finally placed my order for a MINI yesterday morning.
The particulars:
The first mods (that didn't take long did it?
) will be a Whalen Shift Machine, M7 Strut Top Brace and M7 Black Powder Coat Upper and Middle Grills. I will be replacing the run flats with a good set of snow tires and I will then have the winter to decide on the new rims and summer tires. I am currently leaning towards ASA AR2's with Goodyear F1 GS-D3's. Guess I have to start saving my pennies.
My MA said that i should get a production number toward the end of next week. I get the feeling that it is going to be a long wait until the mid October delivery date.

CONGRATZ ds/b! Will you be getting a 2006 or 2007? Either way it will be a BLAST!
As for the wait, be sure to join your 'support week' group. My week 23 group has been a lifesaver for me, as no one in the 'real (non-MINI) world' gets what we go through with this crazy wait!

Thanks for the words of welcome.
I have ordered a 2006 MCS. My MA said that they will not be getting any of the 2007s in until after the first of the year. That did not make any difference to me as I wanted the 2006 anyway.
I am planning on joining the Production Week group as soon as I know the week. I guess that will be a while yet.
I will also be joining the Dark Silver Owner's Club.
