order details missing?

Hi all. I went online yesterday to check my status, as Penelope should have arrived at the VDC over the weekend. Anyway, my status had not changed, but my order detail page (where they list your VIN, specs, etc) is now blank. Has anyone else lost their order details? I hope this doesn't mean that she still had sea legs and fell off the gangplank during disembarkation

If you use the "View Page Source" option in your web browser, you should be able to see the order details down at the bottom of the page.

The Order Details thing has not worked for me except for a brief period a couple weeks ago. I think there's something wrong with their Flash programming.

okay thanks. It didn't work for me for a long time either, then started to do so. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.

The website is notoriously slow to update and notoriously quick to lose info. When in doubt call ASK-MINI to get up to date info, or your MA. Welcome! Jimbo

I never had an order detail page. It was always blank from the beginning for the whole two months of waiting.
MiniUSA site is worthless after your car is loaded on a ship. AskMini still says in transit and my car has been in the garage for 3 1/2 weeks. <grin>

My order stuff (dark silver with this & that option) was there for about a week, then disappeared about the time my baby reached the port, much like with Acitydweller, above.

What are people's experience for how long it is between car arriving at port and being able to find it via VIN# on the schedule.2global.com website?

Domc-- What takes 3 1/2 weeks? Is that at the port/vehicle center, or your local dealer getting stripe & modded? I'm trying to guess how long between coming ashore in California and arrive at Sandia Mini. --doug

Keep in mind that not all cars go onto the WW ships. Many go on the K-Line ships. If you're lucky enough to get on a WW ship, then your tracking experience will be nicer since WW allows tracking by VIN. The K-Line site doesn't and it's more difficult to find out if you've actually been loaded onto a boat and which one.

Mine for example is most likely on the K-Line ship EMDEN which is bound for Charleston on the June 29th. I sat in the port for 5 days before the EMDEN left. Am I sure I'm on the EMDEN? Unfortunately I'm not. My MA isn't any help so I'm just hoping.

3 1/2 weeks is how long I've actually have had the car. It took a total time of 2 months almost to the day from ordering from dealer till in my driveway.
Regular MC which could be why it was so fast. Also our dealer had an allocation of cars already set up when we ordered too.

Yes it was on the K-line ship and I could not track it. I called my MA about a total of 2 times during the whole process. I figured it comes when it comes and luckly it was not a 4 months wait. All in all we are happy with the process and have no complaints.
