Hi everyone. This is my first post, though I've been lurking and enjoying all the posts for a few weeks now. Assuming everything goes okay, I'll be picking up my new MC on July 1. Due to moving, starting a new job and a bunch of other stuff, I couldn't wait for a special order, so I'm buying off the lot. It had a few extra options than I really wanted, but I get the advantage of a getting it soon! I'm sure I'll have a bunch of questions once I finally pick up the car and get started, but thanks for all the good info already on here!

I bought Gromit off the lot instead of ordering, and it is still just as fun. He had a couple of things I wouldn't have ordered, but I don't regret it--in fact I am glad about one of the differences, CVT instead of manual.

 

I don't have all the NAM abbreviations down yet, so please forgive me. It's a HB/S MC with CVT. As far as options, it's got the cold weather package, MFSW and DSC, all of which were on my must-have list. It also has the anthracite interior and headliner (nice), sunroof, front and rear fogs, rear spoiler, rain sensor with auto headlights and the delta spoke wheels.

I actually didn't want a sunroof because I've heard the complaints about it being a little too sunny, so I'm thinking of getting some sort of cool vinyl graphic to apply to it. I could care less about the fogs and spoiler. I like the look of the delta spokes, but I think they come with runflats, so I might switch to a different tire. Does anyone have the rain sensor wipers? I asked to have daytime running lights programmed, so I think the auto headlights will probably be useless.

Anyhow, I am very excited...I actually haven't even seen the car in person, so it'll be a very neat experience when I pick it up next weekend. It's also my first new car, as I've driven an old, creaky Buick for the past 12 years, so this will be a huge change!

I can now post pics since I finally got my car! I picked it up on Saturday, and I've put about 200 miles on it since then. So far, I really love it. The sunroof has really grown on me, and I love the color.

Hope the pictures come out - I used the attachment feature. If there's an easier way to post pictures, please let me know.
